Compartment Lockers

Compartment Lockers are distinguished by having the overall height of the locker split into equal height compartments. The number of compartments available varies from 1 to 16. NOTE – Compartments (comps for short) are also known as tiers. Single compartment lockers are fitted with an internal hat shelf approximately 300mm from the top of the locker with either a single or a double coathook fitted beneath the shelf. Two compartment lockers have each compartment fitted with either a single or a double coathook. All other compartment lockers have no internal fittings.

Utility Lockers

Utility Lockers are distinguished from other lockers as they usually have a combination of doors within the overall dimensions of the locker. There are four main types of utility lockers although they have a multitude of variants. These four main utility locker types are:

Clean & Dirty Locker

Clean and Dirty Lockers, as the name suggests have separated compartments for the storage of clean and dirty garments within one locker. A standard configuration of the clean and dirty locker has an internal shelf fitted approximately 300mm from the top the locker

Two Person Locker

Two Person Lockers, as the name suggests have capacity for two people. Each person benefits from having a long hanging compartment for the storage of garments and a full width compartment for the storage of personal effects. Normally, each full length locker compartment will be fitted with a coathook. Each locker has two sets of suited locks and keys so that each person can open two doors with one key.

Twin Locker

Twin Lockers, as the name suggests have two identical compartments within one locker. Each compartment within the locker will have a three quarter length compartment for the storage of hanging garments and a small compartment for the storage of personal items.

Uniforms Lockers (aka Nurses Locker, Janitors Locker, Staff Locker)

Uniforms Lockers are designed to meet the demands of a variety of requirements. Each locker has a full width compartment at the top of the locker. The remainding space within the locker is split with a vertical divider placed centrally to provide a three quarter length compartment for the storage of hanging garments. This compartment will be fitted with a coathook. The other side of the divider is split into three equal height compartment which are ideal for the storage of associated garments, tools, material, documentation etc etc.

Garment Lockers

Garment Lockers are distinguished from other lockers as they have individual compartments for the storage of individual folded garments. Each locker has a master door for access by a third party to replace garments on a regular basis. Garment Lockers are available with five, ten, twelve, fifteen or twenty compartments

Small Lockers

Small lockers by their nature are designed for circumstances where a regular sized locker would not fit.

Cube Lockers

Cube Lockers are normally available in three sizes; 300mm, 380mm and 450mm, and are available as single units or pre-built into the required units.

Quarto Lockers

Quarto lockers are normally available in two sizes but in elevation are equal in height to one quarter of the height of a normal regular height locker.

Sixto Lockers

Sixto lockers are normally available in two sizes but in elevation are equal in height to one sixth of the height of a normal regular height locker.

Low Lockers

Low Lockers are available in a variety of sizes ranging from 900mm to 1300mm high. Low lockers are available with one to three compartments.

Special Lockers

Certain lockers do not fit into any of the above categories due to their specific design, sizes etc etc. These lockers include postbox lockers, disability lockers and police lockers.

Postbox Lockers

Postbox lockers are designed specifically for mail distribution. Each locker is available with a number of doors which have a postal slot at the top of the door to allow small - medium sized mail to be posted.

Disability Lockers

Disability lockers are designed specifically for usage by wheelchair bound people. Each locker is approximately 1300mm high with easily accessable compartments and in particular has a raised bottom to reduce straining when reaching down into the locker.

Police Lockers

Police Lockers have been developed specifically for the storage of all garments and items relating to general police work. A large main compartment with extra depth is designed for storage of large jackets and body armour. Additional storage compartments provide storage for utility belts, paperwork, radios and other accessories.

Personal Effects Lockers

Personal effects lockers are designed to store small items in large quantities securely in confined spaces. Each compartment is normally large enough to accommodate a wallet / purse and a bunch of keys.
